A modern, practical teacher training designed for real life. 100 hours online + 100 hours live on the Algarve coast. Led by Stine and Sebastian - 15+ years of practice and teaching.
Train where others vacation. Heat Lagos sits across from Praia de Batata, minutes from Meia Praia. Theory sessions happen outside - on the sand, in the Portuguese sun.
Led by Stine and Sebastian - each with 15+ years of practice and teaching. You get two perspectives, two teaching styles, and decades of real-world experience.
We honour yoga's depth while translating it into language that resonates with modern life. Plus honest, practical training on the business of yoga - freelancing, retreats, studio work.
Intentionally kept small. This isn't a factory. You'll leave changed - more confident in your voice, clearer as a teacher, and connected to a real community.
You are not learning from recent graduates. You are learning from teachers who have spent over 15 years each practicing, teaching, and refining what works.

Lead Trainer
Seventeen years of teaching, fifteen of them full-time. Stine has led teacher trainings for over a decade, with a focus on helping athletes and everyday people discover movement they never thought was for them. Founded Joy Yoga Oslo, built one of Norway's first online yoga platforms, and co-founded Yoga for BJJ. She still shows up as a student - because the best teachers never stop learning. Certifications include 500h Vinyasa, Tiffany Cruikshank, AcroYoga, Rocket Yoga, Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Pre & postnatal, Oxygen Advantage breathwork, and Barre.

Co-Founder & Trainer
Fifteen years of teaching yoga and Pilates. Co-founder of Yoga for BJJ, the first platform to bring yoga to the grappling world, reaching hundreds of thousands of athletes who never thought yoga was for them. A two-time world champion and four-time European champion in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, he came to yoga through injury and stayed because it gave him his career back. He knows what it feels like to be a serious athlete who wants nothing to do with a yoga class - and that is exactly what makes him so good at teaching one. His classes are precise, practical, and genuinely funny. You will learn how to teach real people with real bodies, and how to make movement feel completely undaunting.
Together they have taught thousands of classes, started two successful online yoga websites, hosted 100+ workshops and weekend events, trained teachers who now run their own studios, and now run Heat Lagos.
Complete the first 100 hours at your own pace before arriving in Portugal. Full access to our extensive Vinyasa class library with both Stine and Sebastian. We kick off with a personal onboarding call to get you set up and answer your questions. Along the way, we are asynchronously available for Q&A whenever you need support. Nobody is left on their own if they want help.
Important: The online material is part of the full 200-hour RYT200 certification. It is also available as a complete standalone online programme - you can earn your Yoga Alliance RYT200 without coming to Portugal. The live training adds hands-on adjustments, live teaching practice, and group energy. Both paths lead to the same certificate.
September 27 - October 12, 2026. Immersive training at Heat Lagos with one rest day. Hands-on adjustments, teaching practice, and real-time feedback on the Algarve coast.
You'll learn how to create and teach strong, purposeful Vinyasa classes that students genuinely love and want to return to.

Learn to teach gentle, breath-led classes that build awareness and calm. Perfect for beginners, recovery days, and creating space for students to reconnect with their bodies.
Dynamic movement followed by deep release. You will learn how to balance effort and surrender in one class, giving students both the workout they want and the stretch they need.
Theme-based sequencing built around a target posture. Backbends, inversions, arm balances. Learn progressive warm-ups, intelligent preparation, and how to make the peak feel achievable.
Classes designed to build functional strength through movement. Smart progressions, regressions, and how to challenge students without losing the flow or the breath.
When, where, and how to touch. Ethics of hands-on work, reading a student's readiness, and giving adjustments that genuinely help rather than distract.
How to design, market, and deliver workshops that sell out. From inversions intensives to backbends masterclasses - the business and the teaching behind special events.
We deliberately keep this training non-residential. You choose your own accommodation so you can rest, integrate, and enjoy your time in the Algarve the way you want.
Many students stay in nearby Airbnbs, surf houses, or hotels close to the beach. After training, you're steps from the ocean - surf, swim, or just watch the sunset.
Heat Lagos is located directly across from Praia de Batata and minutes from Meia Praia. Many of our theory sessions take place outside on the sand, in the Portuguese sun.
15 days in Lagos. Early bird deadline: July 1, 2026.
This is what it feels like to train with us.
"I came in skeptical. Teacher trainings often overpromise. This one delivered. Stine and Sebastian each bring something entirely different - you are not learning the same thing twice. Complex concepts become clear, practical, and immediately usable. I left ready to teach, having exceeded every expectation I walked in with."

"I found Yoga for BJJ as a professional athlete. It kept me physically alive through the final years of my career and gave me a future after it. I did the 200-hour and P.E.A.R.S. training and left with the confidence to open my own studio. Now I teach athletes and hobbyists using skills I learned from Sebastian and Stine. Always wondered what I could have achieved if I had found them in my early twenties."

You need to have some yoga experience, but how much depends on your overall background. If you're uncertain, reach out and we'll have an honest conversation about whether this is the right fit for you right now.
Lifetime access to the course material (including future updates) and your Yoga Alliance RYT200 certificate upon completion.
Travel, accommodation, and meals are not included. The training is non-residential so you choose where you stay - Airbnbs, surf houses, or hotels close to the beach are popular options.
Yes - the full 200-hour RYT certification is available as a complete online programme. You get the same curriculum, the same accreditation, and the same Yoga Alliance RYT200 certificate without ever setting foot in Portugal.
The way we structure the training is: 100 hours of self-paced online material (philosophy, anatomy, sequencing theory) completed before arrival, then 100 hours of live immersive training in Lagos. But the online programme itself is a full, standalone RYT200 - not a partial course.
The only thing missing in the online version is the live, in-person component: hands-on adjustments, real-time teaching practice, and the group energy of training alongside others. Some people learn best with that. Others thrive with the flexibility of online. Both paths lead to the same certificate.
Online-only price: $297 USD. Ask us about the online-only option.
The early bird rate is €1,490 (payable in 3 instalments). Early bird deadline: July 1, 2026.
